Use AWSU and kubergrunt to manage the AWS credentials for authenticating to EKS

Steps to add kubergrunt kubeconfig file in roost

  • Switch to cluster Management and click on add cluster and select option “Connect Existing Cluster - kube config file“

  • Add the kubeconfig and add an alias name

  • Click on “AUTH CONFIG“ and switch to “Token Manager” tab and in the drop down of “Token” select option “AWSU” and populate the profile name and click on save and then on create
